About the role

As an automation technician at Edet Bruk, you will be part of an RST work team that works with operational, preventive, and corrective maintenance. It is a broad role where you will largely work independently and feel ownership of your department. You will also have close contact with mechanics and operators in your daily work to solve problems that may arise. Together with other automation technicians, you will be part of a positive and driven group that collaborates on various maintenance and development projects. The position is during daytime with on-call duty.

At Essity, we constantly work with safety, and based on prescribed routines and safety regulations, your main tasks will include:

• Maintenance work
• Troubleshooting
• Programming in control systems
• Improvement work and modifications of equipment
• Repairs
• Electrical installation work

Who you are

To thrive in this role, you have a genuine interest in technology and are motivated by problem-solving. We are looking for someone who is positive, accustomed to working independently, and enjoys working with varied tasks. We expect you to have an interest in programming and software, and we would like you to have a couple of years of experience working with automation.

• High school education with a focus on automation or equivalent
• Experience with ABB or Siemens systems and previous work in the process industry or energy sector is an advantage
